PayPal Standard Setup

PayPal users require a Premier or Business account to process credit cards. You can sign
up for a free Business PayPal account by clicking on the PayPal link.

Make sure it is a Premier or Business Account as Personal Accounts are not suitable.


Enable PayPal Standard
Set this to Yes.

Premier or Business Email Address

This is the email address that you have registered with PayPal and must be filled in before

you can process any orders.

Customer  Shipping Address
This prompts customers to include their shipping address on the order form. This is usually set to Always Require

Allow the Customer to add a message
This allows the customer to include a message to the merchant with the order.

Title of Message if included (Optional)
Title that you place above the message from the customer to explain its meaning.
If left blank the default message is: Message to Seller.

URL of your success page (Optional):
An internet URL where the customer will be returned after completing their order.

For example, you may use this to to display a "Thank you for shopping" page.

URL of cancel payment page (Optional):
An internet page where the customer will be sent to if they cancel their payment. For example you may use this to show a "Payment Cancelled" page.

URL of Payment Page Logo (Optional):
The URL of a logo to be displayed on the order page. You must host this logo on a secure server

or your browser will give a security information alert when you use the shopping cart.

Live Account or Sandbox Account:
If you have a sandbox account for testing at developer.paypal.com, this allows you to link the shopping cart to it.
